Holi Festival Tour
Delhi • Agra • Jaipur • Jodhpur • Udaipur
India runs on its festivals. Streets fill with colour for Holi, camel traders and folk musicians take over the desert for the Pushkar and Nagaur fairs, masked monks perform centuries-old dances at Hemis in the Himalayas, and entire cities pause for Rath Yatra and Hornbill. Our Festival Tour Packages are built around these exact dates, not a general "best season" window, so you land in the right city on the right day, with guided access to what's actually happening.
Each package below combines the festival itself with the region's best sightseeing. That means Rajasthan's forts around Pushkar and Nagaur (easily combined with a Golden Triangle Tour or our Colors of Rajasthan itinerary), Ladakh's monasteries around Hemis, Odisha's temple towns around Puri Rath Yatra, and Northeast India's tribal culture around Hornbill. Every itinerary is fully customizable on dates, hotel category, and route. Tell us your travel window and we'll build around it.
India Holiday Mall has been designing festival and cultural tours since 2000. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, we handle the logistics that matter most for festival travel: accommodation confirmed well before dates sell out, licensed local guides, and private transport between festival towns, for travelers from the USA, UK, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Festival travel is unforgiving of bad planning. Hotels near Pushkar during the fair, or in Kohima during Hornbill, sell out months ahead, and once a festival starts, transport and guides get harder to arrange on short notice. We plan every festival package backward from the confirmed date, locking in accommodation, transport, and local guides before availability disappears.
Each of our Festival Tour Packages can be adjusted to your preferences. Extend the Pushkar tour with extra nights in Udaipur, add wildlife sightseeing to the Hornbill route through Kaziranga (see our Wildlife Tour of India for safari add-ons), or upgrade any package to luxury heritage hotels. We handle the full itinerary, including flight coordination, private transfers, English-speaking guides, and 24/7 support, so the only thing you need to plan is which festival to see.
The Holi Festival Tour and Pushkar Festival Tour are the most accessible starting points. Both are well-supported with tourist infrastructure and combine the festival with classic Rajasthan sightseeing (Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur).
We recommend booking 4-6 months ahead for festivals like Holi and Pushkar, and 6+ months for harder-to-access events like Hemis (limited Ladakh accommodation) and Hornbill (Nagaland's peak-season hotel crunch).
Yes. Every package listed (Holi, Nagaur, Hemis, Puri Rath Yatra, Hornbill, Pushkar, Paro, Sonepur Fair, Thrissur Fair) can be adjusted for trip length, hotel category, added destinations, or private vs. small-group travel.
Yes. For festivals with limited or ticketed access, such as Hemis monastery courtyard seating or Pushkar Fair grounds, we arrange entry and viewing access as part of the package, not just accommodation and transfers.
Rajasthan (Pushkar, Nagaur, Holi), Ladakh (Hemis), Odisha (Puri Rath Yatra), Nagaland and the Northeast (Hornbill), Bihar (Sonepur Fair), Kerala (Thrissur Fair), and Bhutan (Paro Festival).
