Tulsi Manas Temple

It is about 70 kilometers away from Varanasi station, is known for its cultural and traditional past. The temple has been constructed right at the very place where the scriptures of the great India legend ‘Ramayana’ were written. The temple is built in a quaint fashion. One can see verses from the Ram Charit Manas inscribed all over the walls of the temple. The intricate ideologies of the Ramayana are portrayed in a pretty simple and straightforward manner.

Bharat Mata Temple

A rather new temple constructed in 1936 and situated at Kashi Vidyapeeth Campus, was built in reverence for Mother India. Babu Shiv Prasad Gupt, an acolyte of Gandhi constructed this temple and it was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. It comprises of a marble design of Mother India, which is a three-dimensional construction of the country before its partition.
