Chhattisgarh is a tribal state, having a majority of the population as tribes. A large number of Gonds, Oraons and Baigas inhabit the state. The people of the state still practise a lot of tribal customs like witchcraft which are banned in other states of the country. The Adivasis of the state still maintain the traditional rituals of their tribes. The dresses and food habits of the people vary from one tribe to another. The tribal dance of Suwa is also famous as the Parrot dance. It is a form of dance related to worship. 

 

Maharashtra has a lot of tribal history. The state has a lot of caves from the ancient age. The cuisine of the state varies from one region to another. One of the famous dishes of the state is the Kolhapuri mutton.The women of the state like to wear traditional costumes. The Hindus in the state celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with huge pomp and show. There are several dialects being spoken in the state depending on the tribes.

 

Rajasthan was formed with the congregation of a lot of princely states. The state is inhabited by the Jats, Meenas, Rajputs, Gurjars among others. The tourism industry of the state is very booming with Thar Desert being the main attraction.
