  • Day 01: Arrive at Delhi

    Arrive Delhi. On arrival, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

    DELHI - It is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling Havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators.

  • Day 02: Delhi

    After breakfast visit Red Fort (from Outside) – the 17th-century imposing fortress, the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat –Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial. In the afternoon visit New Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace and India Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, and the Qutub Minar, the highest sands stone minaret in the world (73 meters).

  • Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur

    After having breakfast, drive to Jaipur.

    Maharaja Jai Singh II built Jaipur in the 18th century. It is a planned city built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful state. The whole city was painted pink to welcome the visit of Prince Albert in 1853. On arrival check-in the hotel

    In the evening attend the Aarti ceremony at Birla Temple (without guide).

  • Day 4: Jaipur

    After breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with Elephant or Jeep ride. En route, make a photo stop at the palace of winds the Hawa Mahal. A 5 storied building with a 25cm thick facade from the 18 century having 953 windows and niches so that ladies of the royal family could see the procession and events in the city without being visible to the people.

    In the afternoon, visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar (1728-34) by king astrologer Jai Singh II. The instruments are built of stone with marble facing on the important plains for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Each instrument serves a particular function and each gives an accurate reading.

    In the evening enjoy dinner with local dances at a local restaurant.

  • Day 5: Jaipur – Agra

    After having breakfast, drive to Agra.

    On arrival check in the hotel

    After check-in at the hotel visit Taj Mahal (1631-1653), a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Also, visit Agra Fort (Fort and Palace) situated on the West Bank of the river Jamuna.

  • Day 6: Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho

    After breakfast transfer to the railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival in Jhansi, drive to Khajuraho (Approx. 172 km / 04 hrs), home to the most famous erotic temples built in the 10 & 11th century by the Chandella Rulers.

  • Day 7: Khajuraho – Varanasi

    In the morning visit Eastern Group of temples mainly dedicated to the Jain teachers - Tirthankaras - The Parsvanatha Temple, the Adinatha Temple, and the Santinatha Temple. The temples are ornately carved on the outside with beautiful figures of Hindu gods, goddesses. Also visit the Western Group of temples, which consist of a group of artistic temples built in sandstone. The sculptures of Hindu deities, dancers and musicians appear to be so natural as if they would come alive any time.

    In the afternoon transfer to the airport to connect flight to Varanasi.

    Later, drive out for an excursion trip to Sarnath. Located thirteen kilometers northeast of Varanasi, Sarnath is the auspicious place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon in the deer park after attaining enlightenment at Bodhgaya. (This visit subject to the arrival time of the flight). If arrives later in the evening this visit will be done the next day.

  • Day 8: Varanasi - Delhi

    Today early morning you experience the life of this ancient city. See the beauty of the rising sun on the Ganges Boat Ride (subject to the level of water). Experience the early morning rituals of the Hindus being performed, thousands of people taking a bath in the holy river believing they will be free from the circle of rebirth. It is interesting to see the pilgrims offering sweets, flowers and holy water to the Sun God.

    Later return back to the hotel.

    Later visit Sarnath (if not done on the previous day).

    On-time transfer to the airport to connect flight back to Delhi.

    On arrival transfer to the hotel (closer to the airport).

  • Day 9: Delhi - Kathmandu

    Today after early breakfast transfer to the airport to connect flight to Kathmandu.

    On arrival visit Kathmandu city, a city that looks like a living museum. Visit the Durbar Square, the Temple of the Living Goddess, the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Shiva-Parvati Temple, a three-story temple famous for its erotic stone carvings.

  • Day 10: Kathmandu

    Today we visit the second Sister City of the capital, Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur), which means “the City of Devotees”. Visit Durbar Square with King Palace especially its golden gate and 55-Windows-Palace (15th century), the 5- story Nyatopala-Temple, the highest and probably the finest temple in Kathmandu Valley, built by King Bhupatindra. The 2-story Bhairabnath-Temple (18th century) as well as the Dattatraya Temple dedicated to God Vishnu and the Pujahari Math with its famous Peacock Window.

    In the afternoon, visit the ancient town of Patan also known as Lalitpur (City of Beauty and Fine Art). Patan is an ancient city filled with exotic pagodas, intricate gateways, fabulous deities, and endless carvings.

  • Day 11: Kathmandu Departure

    Transfer to the airport to connect flight back home.

    Room available till 1200 hrs noontime.
